How do you celebrate holidays?

I like to switch up how I celebrate holidays depending on the occasion. Memorial Day and the Fourth of July are all about smoky grills, backyard laughter, and friends showing off their barbecue “skills” that may or may not require a fire extinguisher. Veterans Day is more personal and reflective, so I keep it simple by gathering small tokens and goodies as my own way of honoring the day. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s are a bigger production, usually spent with friends or family, and often sprinkled with a bit of travel. Whether I’m raising a toast at midnight, trying to keep up with holiday traditions, or packing a suitcase for a seasonal adventure, each holiday feels like its own little chapter of celebration.
