A friend informed us of his roommate’s passing, someone I also knew. He died unexpectedly during a routine procedure. One of our mutual friends texted us, saying he had just spoken to him on Saturday. He is struggling to accept the sudden loss. Just like that, a life is gone without warning. It’s like blowing out a candle—a flame burning brightly one moment and then extinguished in an instant. I wrote this haiku reflecting on the fleeting nature of human life.

Hidden life’s blueprint
Souls grow on this earthly plane
Flesh fades, homeward bound

Welcome to Soul Path Insights.

I write about things I’m living through — faith, growth, identity, and everything in between. Some days are clear, some days are questions, but all of it is real.

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking a little deeper about life, you’ll probably feel at home here.
