What will your life be like in three years?

A Glimpse into Tomorrow
If someone were to ask me what my life will look like three years from now, I’d smile and say, “Steady.” Not stagnant, not chaotic but. steady. The kind of steady that comes from trust, rhythm, and alignment. By then, I see myself living in a beautiful home filled with light, writing books that have touched hearts around the world, earning a consistent six-figure income from multiple streams, and boarding first-class flights without guilt or hesitation. This isn’t about luxury; it’s about peace about knowing I’ve sown well and now live from the harvest.
As Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” The vision isn’t built on hustle alone but on partnership with God. I’ve learned that when your goals align with your calling, your future becomes a reflection of divine cooperation, not personal striving.
More Than a Dream
I don’t see success as a ladder anymore; I see it as a garden. In three years, that garden will be thriving, books blooming, digital products growing, investments yielding fruit. Every seed planted today through consistency, prayer, and stewardship will have sprouted into something tangible. As scripture says, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin” (Zechariah 4:10).
Success, to me, is no longer tied to busyness. It’s tied to being. It’s living unhurried, unbothered, and unafraid. It’s paying for a first-class seat not for status, but for rest. It’s walking through my own front door, knowing God fulfilled what He promised when He said, “The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty” (Deuteronomy 28:12).
The Heart Behind the Hustle
Behind every milestone is a mindset that’s been renewed. I’ve learned that abundance doesn’t start with numbers, it starts with thoughts. As Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” The mind becomes the workshop for destiny. Every thought of lack, fear, or unworthiness has to be replaced with gratitude, faith, and expectancy.
And when obstacles come (because they will), I’ll remind myself of Eleanor Roosevelt’s words: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Belief isn’t passive, it’s power in motion. It’s the force that turns plans into blueprints and blueprints into homes.
Financial overflow, bestselling books, global travel, all of it will simply be the evidence of a soul that stayed rooted. As Maya Angelou once said, “Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.”
Soul Insights
1. Vision Must Be Detailed, Not Distant.
When I picture my future, I don’t just see “success.” I see specific images, my name on the spine of a bestseller, my feet resting on a first-class footrest, my morning coffee on the porch of my own home. The more vividly I describe it, the more the vision becomes real in my spirit. God honors clarity because clarity shows faith.
2. Consistency Is the Real Currency.
It’s not one grand act of effort that builds a life, it’s the quiet repetition of faithful action. Small steps create big results when you walk them daily. Like compound interest, consistency multiplies over time, turning unseen moments into lasting impact.
3. Wealth Is a Byproduct of Alignment.
True prosperity doesn’t come from chasing money but from walking in purpose. When I align my actions with what God designed me to do, provision follows naturally. Abundance is not forced—it’s the fruit of alignment, obedience, and flow.
4. Rest Is a Sign of Trust.
First-class travel represents more than luxury, it’s symbolic of rest. I’ll no longer feel guilty for resting, for choosing comfort, or for receiving ease. When God blesses, it’s not meant to exhaust you but to elevate you. Peace is prosperity in disguise.
5. The Best Investment Is Still the Soul.
No matter how many revenue streams I build, my most valuable asset will always be my peace. The state of my soul determines the quality of my life. Success without joy is still poverty, but peace with purpose is eternal wealth.
Final Thoughts
Three years from now, I won’t just be wealthier, I’ll be freer. My calendar will reflect boundaries, my bank account will reflect stewardship, and my heart will reflect gratitude. I’m learning to trust the process, celebrate the progress, and believe that God’s timing is never late.
Every morning, I’ll continue to rise, pray, create, and serve because dreams come alive through daily obedience. And maybe one day, as I look out the window of a first-class cabin, I’ll whisper, “Thank You, Lord. You did it again.”
Your Turn
Where do you see yourself in three years? Write it down, pray over it, and then take one small action today that moves you closer to it. God doesn’t bless empty wishes, He blesses prepared hearts. Start preparing your harvest now.
