If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?

If I had a million dollars to give away, hands down, I’d give it to HOPE Worldwide. They’re the kind of organization that shows up where it hurts, feeding, clothing, rebuilding, healing, wherever there’s a need. It’s not flashy. It’s faithful.
I’ve always admired how they move with quiet strength. They don’t just talk about compassion, they practice it. Whether it’s rebuilding after disasters, helping kids get an education, or caring for the vulnerable, HOPE Worldwide is the kind of light the world needs more of.
And honestly, money only feels meaningful when it moves. You can buy comfort, but giving it away to something that restores dignity and faith? That’s where the real treasure is.
So yeah, if someone dropped a million dollars in my lap tomorrow (feel free, God 😏), I’d gladly pass it along to HOPE Worldwide. Because giving isn’t losing, it’s multiplying impact. And seeing lives changed? That’s the kind of return I’ll never stop investing in.
Lessons About Giving
1. Giving expands your world.
The moment you give, you realize how connected we all are. Generosity stretches your heart in directions comfort never will.
2. Hope is contagious.
When you help one person, it doesn’t stop there. Kindness multiplies. Someone sees it, feels it, and passes it on and suddenly, hope has legs.
3. God’s math is different.
You can’t outgive Him. Somehow, every time you pour out, you end up fuller, maybe not in your bank account, but definitely in your soul.
Final Thoughts
If I had a million to give, it wouldn’t just be about money. It’d be about meaning. Because the goal isn’t to live richer; it’s to live poured out. And I can’t think of a better investment than hope.
