What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

I used to think “rest” was just what you do when you’re too tired to be productive. You know like a coffee break, a quick nap, a Netflix episode to recharge before getting back to the “real work.” But somewhere between adulthood, faith, and too many burnout cycles, I realized rest is the real work.
Rest isn’t laziness, it’s strategy. It’s where clarity shows up, creativity sneaks in, and God whispers what hustle usually drowns out. I used to measure my worth by how much I could squeeze into a day. Now, I measure it by how much peace I can keep while doing it.
So yeah, I’ve changed my mind about rest. It’s not a reward you earn, it’s a rhythm you protect. I don’t chase exhaustion anymore. I choose alignment. (And maybe a nap that feels suspiciously like worship.) 😴✨
