What are you most excited about for the future?

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven…”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1
Let’s be honest: the future used to scare me. Not because I didn’t have dreams—but because I had too many of them, and no roadmap. I knew what I wanted: to live a life aligned with God, creativity, and freedom. But for years, that felt more like a Pinterest board than a plan.
Now? The pieces are starting to come together. Slowly. Intentionally. Sometimes with tears. But undeniably, I’m moving forward. And I’m not just building a career—I’m building a life.
So when someone asks, “What are you excited about for the future?” I don’t just give a surface-level answer. I pause. I reflect. And then I smile—because for the first time in a long time, I feel it coming together.
⚡ What’s Shifting
I’m writing books that carry emotional truth and spiritual grit.
I’m creating digital products that empower others and generate income.
I’m launching a podcast that feels like a soul conversation over coffee.
I’m dreaming of a life where my work flows from alignment, not approval.
There’s momentum—not flashy, not viral, but rooted.
And rooted is what I’ve been praying for.
“The steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in their way.”
— Psalm 37:23
I’m no longer chasing noise. I’m following the whisper.
💬 What I’m Building
I’m building books that heal. Not preachy, not perfect—just honest.
Poetry that touches the raw places. Reflections that hold a mirror.
Memoirs that name the hard things and still dare to hope.
I’m building income streams from my own voice.
Writing that pays bills and blesses people.
Digital tools that aren’t just content—they’re invitations to reflection.
Courses, journals, devotionals… not just products, but pathways.
I’m building a rhythm of life where rest and obedience aren’t luxuries—they’re leadership.
As Annie Dillard said:
“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”
And I want to spend mine awake. Present. Led.
🪞 A Real Moment
The other night, I was folding laundry on the floor of my living room while listening to BTS’s Love Myself on low volume. It had been a long day—emails, errands, distractions. Nothing particularly glamorous. But in that ordinary moment, I felt it: alignment.
Psalm 23 came to mind. He restores my soul. Not through fireworks, but through stillness.
That’s the life I want more of—not just productivity, but presence.
🌿 Soul Insights
1. Calling doesn’t always come with clarity.
Most of the time, I didn’t hear God say “Go.” I just knew I couldn’t stay where I was. The journey revealed the call.
2. Provision follows obedience.
Every time I took a step in faith—publishing the book, investing in the podcast, making the ask—provision came. Not always in my timing, but always on time.
3. Freedom is a fruit of alignment.
I used to think freedom came from money or travel. Now I see: freedom starts with internal integrity. When your soul and your schedule match, you breathe easier.
4. Growth is often disguised as discomfort.
Every stretch has taught me something. Even the months I felt stuck were preparing me for the work I’m doing now.
5. Faith isn’t the absence of fear—it’s movement in spite of it.
Courage is showing up before you feel ready. Faith is pressing “publish” when your hands are shaking.
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
— Hebrews 11:1
🔄 Final Thoughts: Still Becoming
There are days I still question everything.
Days I open a blank page and wonder if my words still matter.
But then I remember:
“She believed she could, so she prayed—and then got to work.”
(A revised version of the classic quote that actually fits my life.)
I don’t want a perfect future.
I want a purposeful one.
The kind where God leads, I listen, and together we build something eternal.
So yes—I’m excited for the future.
Not because I have all the answers,
but because I’ve finally stopped needing them.
I’m not chasing a brand.
I’m becoming a woman who trusts God with her story.
And that? That’s worth getting excited about.
