Author’s Notes:
When I was a child, one of my favorite pastimes was lying on the grass, gazing up at the sky, and watching the clouds drift by. I would spend hours lost in those moments, letting my imagination run wild. Sometimes, I’d pretend the clouds were giant puffs of cotton candy, envisioning myself sitting on them, savoring their sweetness. Other times, I’d watch as they shifted and changed shape, transforming into all kinds of animals and fantastical creatures. This haiku is inspired by those whimsical childhood days, where clouds were the canvas for my dreams and imagination.
