Dogs or cats?

I’m both a dog and cat person, but in my current stage of life, I would pick a cat over a dog. Living in a small apartment, it wouldn’t be fair to have a large breed like a German Shepherd or Husky, which need plenty of space to run and play. Perhaps in the future, when I have a house with a backyard, I’ll bring a dog into my life. But for now, a cat is the perfect companion for apartment living.

Cats are incredibly fun and fluffy. Their unpredictable antics and quirky personalities bring endless entertainment. Plus, when a cat decides to cuddle, it feels like a privilege. Cats show affection on their own terms, and when they trust you, their love is quite special.

I used to own a cat—or rather, he owned me—and I was in love with him. There’s something about cats that brings out a unique side of me. Their cuteness can be almost overwhelming, in a way that doesn’t happen with dogs. Cats have a way of evoking strong, affectionate feelings, making them the perfect fit for my current lifestyle.

I love other people’s dogs, partly because I don’t have to deal with them at any level beyond pats and tail wags. And where we live, a dog is always at risk from skunks, coyotes, and porcupines. yep. Cats are quiet, resilient, and seem to have enough sense to NOT stick their nose into a porcupine or annoy a skunk. they are also compact, and tidy. I’ve always preferred cats to dogs, even as a child. And they are compact, not taking up any more space than necessary. =)
